Tea Dance in Mallow moved to 26th September
The ICA is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year. One of the highlights in the varied programme of events taking place over the year is the Regional Tea Dance in Mallow. Ena Howell Regional President is hosting the Tea Dance on Saturday 26th September in the Hibernian Hotel Mallow to celebrate this impressive anniversary. All ICA members in the seven counties of Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Limerick, Clare, Tipperary North and Tipperary South, are invited to attend. Each County President will give a short speech on the history of her chain of office.
The National President Ms Josephine Helly will be in attendance and entertainment will be provided by musician John White and Mary Conway of Grenagh Guild who is an over 60s singing champion will be the MC for the day.
“I want to bring the region together for afternoon tea, fun and frolics” said Ena “ we will be celebrating 110 years of our wonderful association and we have much to celebrate, we will have a raffle, great prizes and super music. I look forward to seeing as many members from the region on the day”.
The Tea Dance will take place from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday 26th September in the Hibernian Hotel in Mallow. Tickets cost 10 euro and must be booked in in advance. The event is open to all ICA members in the region.
