Energy Crisis Cost – Extension to the Moratorium on Disconnections

📢Energy cost crisis continues to directly affect household: even increasing prices, fuel shortage and rising poverty levels are characterising the ongoing global energy crisis.

🔴On Tuesday 21st February, the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) announced the extension to the moratorium on disconnections for all domestic electricity and gas customers.

🔴The CRU considered it appropriate to extend this moratorium on disconnections for all domestic customers given the ongoing high prices and uncertainty as to when those prices will reduce.
