Introducing Arabella, the new Communication and Membership Officer

Hi everyone!

My name is Arabella Wells and I am your new Communication and Membership Officer. I am originally from the Sunny South-East, Ballyhale, Co. Kilkenny. Despite my Kilkenny ties, my family’s roots are originally in Cork and Meath. 

I grew up with a deep love for art, history, heritage, and storytelling and have been volunteering in local art galleries since I was a teenager. 

This led me to pursue a BA (Hons) in English, Media and Cultural Studies from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire. Through my undergraduate degree I honed my communication skills and furthered my knowledge of Irish culture and society. My passion for Irish storytelling led me to pursue a Masters in Producing Film and Television, from the University of London.  

Since graduating, I have pursued a career as a Social Media Manager and Communication Officer. I have worked for a US based company who focus on building up the online profile of musicians, as well as several luxury gyms in Dublin.  

I can’t wait to engage with you all and help out in the ICA whatever way I can!
