The Golden Fleece Award 2019
The Golden Fleece Award, an artistic fund established as a charitable bequest by the late Helen Lillias Mitchell (1915-2000).
The mission of the Golden Fleece Award is to provide resources for practising contemporary visual artists and makers to innovate and to develop their artistic vision. The Award supports artists working in all forms of visual, craft and applied arts at critical junctures of their careers and is one of the largest independent monetary awards in the country. This year’s prize fund is in the region of €20,000.
The Trustees of the Golden Fleece Award are now calling for applications for the 2019 Award. The closing date is 2pm on Friday, 23 November 2018. An information sheet about the 2019 Award is attached and applications should be made online via our website, www.goldenfleeceaward.com.
